Each of these 15 short reflections, or “books,” is introduced by a few verses of Scripture or a brief poem, is followed by the author’s meditations on God’s presence with us, and concludes with a series of questions and concrete suggestions for integrating these insights into our daily existence. From “Morning Prayers” and “Contemplative Reading” to “Humble Asking” and “A Walk at Dusk,” Father Billy points us to a prayerful, contemplative attitude toward life.
