About the Artist:
A former student of Itzak Perlman, Mimi Dye is a renowned viola soloist and chamber music artist who has operformed in music festivals and concerts throughout the United States and Europe. Ms. Dye is an artist in residence at the Yachats Music Festival (Oregon) and has been presented by Composer's, Inc., Four Seasons Concerts and Series at St. Mark's , Old St. Mary's and Old First Church in th San Francisco Bay area. Her highly acclaimed recording of Spiritual Songs of Hildegard, adapted by her for solo viola, has sold thousands of copies.
